The SHIFT: Environmentally Responsible Print Practice events last Friday were a great success – an action packed day of workshops, demos, studio tours in Togo Salmon Hall and behind-the-scenes look at prints in McMaster Museum of Art’s collection, culminating with an Opening Reception at the Museum. Thank you to organizers and co-curators Judy Major-Girardin and Briana Palmer for bringing this exciting event to the University and to all those who participated.
Before the opening, we spoke to the curators about some of the prints selected and a variety of ways that artists today are trying to work more safely and sustainably. Check out the video and more event photos below:
