This Friday, Join Brandi Lee MacDonald (Research Associate, Department of Applied Radiation Sciences, McMaster University) in a walking tour of The Unvarnished Truth: Exploring the Material History of Paintings, an exhibition that grew out of her 2010 research at McMaster into non-destructive techniques to analyze works of art. The long-term painting analysis project and exhibition has generated a great deal of interest and excitement. See last week’s coverage on CBC News: Nuclear Imaging Unveils Van Gogh Secrets.
Admission to the McMaster Museum of Art and all its events is Free.
