Guided Tour and Bookmaking Activity:
April 1, 1 – 3 pm
Our recent Winterfest activity was such a great success that we’re offering it again – for spring!! We encourage you to register early, as spaces fill quickly!
Celebrate the power of books, words, and images with a tour of the Age of Enlightenment: The Pierre Conlon Book Collection. We’ll examine ideas surrounding visual language and the impact of the written word within the culture of the 18th century Enlightenment.
Following the tour we’ll bring the ideas of words, images, and storytelling into a small bookmaking activity.
This event is free and all materials are provided.
Registration is required.
