Join us for the fifth annual Slow Art Day at McMaster Museum of Art on Saturday April 8, from 12 to 3 PM.
Look long at five works of art and discuss the experience over a free catered lunch.
Slow Art Day is a worldwide celebration of art that encourages people to look at art SLOWLY – and thereby experience art in a new way. Volunteer host Rachel Tirone, artist, arts educator and McMaster Studio Art alumnus, has organized this event at McMaster and will lead discussion. She has selected five works including paintings on view in the exhibition The Age of Enlightenment, and works on paper drawn especially for this event from the Museum’s vaults.
This event including lunch is FREE.
Registration is required.
