The McMaster Museum of Art is pleased to be co-sponsoring artist John Dickson in the production of a work of art to be displayed in downtown Hamilton at the James Street Supercrawl this weekend, Sept 11 – 13. John Dickson’s work will be installed at the corner of James St North and Cannon St, just outside of the Hamilton Artists Inc.
John Dickson is a Toronto-based artist whose sculptures and installations often explore humanity’s complex and troubled relationship with the natural world. His model-scaled works address large global issues, while his site sensitive installations playfully explore the relationship between architecture and nature.
Looking forward to Supercrawl! Check out the Supercrawl map, see Graham Rockingham’s Supercrawl guide in the Hamilton Spectator and enjoy.
