The McMaster Museum of Art is pleased to announce the launch of its new redesigned website.
The project is a collaboration between McMaster’s Museum of Art, MPS and McMaster alumni Kyle Kuchmey and Riley O’Brien at New Motto Inc. in Hamilton.
“As a public visual arts institution, it is fitting and delightful that we now have a beautiful site where images are the focus and our online audience can find information quickly or have a leisurely browse, ” says our Director Carol Podedworny.
In keeping with the Museum’s strategic plan, the new site is intended to enhance and expand the Museum’s, presence in the wider community. It combines uncomplicated navigation with a polished image-centric design, and draws the Museum’s many online arms — including the Collections database, Museum news blog, and social media platforms — together into one cohesive site.
The launch of the site is a first large step in the Museum’s long-term plan, including a variety of activities from video production to community partnerships which will heighten engagement with art lovers both in and outside the walls of the Museum.
