McMaster Museum of Art
April 9 – 25, 2015

Artist Talks: April 15, 12:30 – 1:30 pm
Reception & Awards: April 18, 2 – 4 pm

The McMaster Museum of Art proudly presents the annual SUMMA exhibition, representing twenty-two emerging artists from McMaster University School of the Arts’ Studio Art Program. These students are the first to graduate from McMaster with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree.

As the title ‘Polyvocal’ implies, this is an exhibition of many diverse voices and expressions. Working in both traditional and non-traditional media, the artists explore a wide range of themes, including familial origins, cultural traditions and constructions, dreams and subconscious thought, myth and storytelling, the natural world, societal norms, and making the ordinary extraordinary.

Come early and vote for your favourite for the People’s Choice Award!
