The global all-volunteer event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art.
Slow Art Day returns to the McMaster Museum of Art on April 11, 2015! This year, our Slow Art Day activities will be run by a new host – McMaster alumnus and volunteer extraordinaire, Mera Qamar.
This is an extended invitation for all art lovers to visit the McMaster Museum of Art and enjoy an opportunity to view five works of art slowly and join together for a discussion of the art works over catered lunch. The art to be discussed will be selected works from the Museum’s permanent collection as well as McMaster’s graduating student art exhibition.
