Here’s a peek at activities this week.
McMaster researcher Brandi Lee McDonald (PhD Candidate, Department of Anthropology) was at the Museum using x-ray fluorescence to test the elemental chemistry of the Roman glass vessels in the antiquities collection. The chemistry of the glass can reveal insight into raw material use, glass recipes, and development of manufacturing techniques over time.
