In September, I was invited to speak about The Art of Seeing, our visual literacy program with McMaster’s Department of Family Medicine Residents, at Concordia University’s Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery as part of their 50th anniversary programming. Their lecture series, DEXTERITY, featured university gallery professionals, like myself, highlighting the scope of the research and programming that is being undertaken by university galleries in Canada today. It was an excellent experience and I’d like to extend a big thank you to my colleagues at the Leonard and Bina Ellen Gallery for this opportunity.
