NIIPA ARTISTS ROUNDTABLE DISCUSSION

Join us for an Artists Roundtable Discussion with some of the founding members of the Native Indian/Inuit Photographers’ Association (NIIPA) an organization founded in Hamilton in 1985. Our special guest speakers are:

Rick Hill
Yvonne Maracle
Brenda Mitten
Greg Staats

This event is presented as a complement to the exhibition now on view at the McMaster Museum of Art, #nofilterneeded: Shining light on the Native Indian/Inuit Photographers’ Association (NIIPA), 1985 – 1992. The exhibition is curated by Rhéanne Chartrand and presented in partnership with Indigenous Art Centre, INAC.
