Making art is a passion for Sheetal Prasad. The third year McMaster student hones her skills in Studio Art classes by day, and shares them at the Museum on Thursday evenings. After attending our first Sketching Thursday – a free and informal activity in the gallery – Sheetal volunteered to lead short sketching lessons in the Museum as well as informally guide those who just need a helping hand.
“Some students aren’t sure where to start and some ask more specific things, like how to draw hands,” said Sheetal after last Thursday’s session. “I’m very pleased to help…and it’s a lot of fun.”
Sketching Thursdays run 4:30 – 7:00 pm.
Details here.
Sheetal will be in attendance from 5:30 – 7 pm.
Attendees are welcome to sketch independently, or enjoy a lesson with Sheetal – whatever they prefer.
