Expressive Artist & Workshop Facilitator
McMaster Student Open Circles
Marybeth Leis Druery, integrates the arts with meditation and reflection. She facilitates workshops to explore creativity, deeper meaning, self-awareness and social justice through reflection and artistic expression.
Marybeth will lead a workshop to explore the possibilities of really seeing, looking beyond your habitual ways of perceiving yourself and the world (of your research). This experiential workshop offers creative practices to cultivate curiosity, an attitude of open inquiry, and a willingness to stay with the process while following it without expectations. Tap into your inner voice through creative expression and by reflecting on the current art exhibition at the McMaster Museum of Art, learning to bring mindfulness into all areas of creativity (and your research).
No artistic experience or perceived skill needed!
