Campus Sculpture Tour App and Audio guide

Spring is here and with it a new way to explore sculpture across McMaster campus – the campus sculpture tour guide app (izi.travel app) and website. The new guide to 26 works of art across campus (and growing) includes images, texts, audio and maps. Check it out now: HERE.
It updates content from the 2014 printed guide, which was produced by two McMaster students Annie Zhu (Health Sciences) and Mera Qamar (Humanities). Over the past few years, some sculptures have moved and others have been added. For instance, William McElcheran’s sculpture of St. Leo, which was installed beside Divinity College in February this year, is included in the digital tour.
Participants may begin their tour at the Museum – a QR code is posted on the Museum’s front door. Simply scan and download McMaster’s Tour from the izi.travel app or directly from the website and enjoy a tour starting at any particular point of interest.
The guide was created using an izi.travel audio guide storytelling platform.
