Spend a day in the garden at McMaster Museum of Art. We’re taking a journey through time to artist gardens past and present, all commissioned for one plot of land on the campus of McMaster University and we’re revealing who is up next. Hear Canadian artists Simon Frank, TH&B (Tor Lukasik-Foss speaking) and Ernest Daetwyler speak briefly about their inspirations and their installations – planted, constructed or both.

New home on campus for TH&B’s Basin sculpture

Basin, the Great Lakes sculpture/installation, which has graced and grown in our Artist Garden for the last two years has now been purchased by the Museum and placed in a new permanent campus home.

Documenting TH&B Artists in Action

Last Friday, on what was likely the last balmy day of 2016, the TH&B artists collective came to McMaster campus to work on Basin, their sculpture/installation in front of the Museum. The piece is now bundled and ready for winter!

Hamilton Artists Planting the Great Lakes at McMaster
